STICKERS how do I GET THEM OFF??

Just got a 2009 brought it home and wanted to take the stickers off. The Cowl ones are leaving behind the glue. What will take the glue off, with out messing up my plastic?

1. Heat gun, goo-b-gone, wd40, lift edge of sticker and "slice" off the stickers with fishing line.

2. Go to the auto parts store and buy a decal remover kit. Everything you need.

search decals on here. lots of good and bad ideas.

I got them off. There is no clear coat on the cowl stickers. At least not on my 2009. Thanks for the info..

I have a 2009 and just finished removing the stickers about an hour ago. I used a blow dryer and 3M adhesive remover.
As Lockjaw mentioned, if there is a kit to make this easier, I might suggest it. Otherwise, here is what I did:
-Warm the sticker area up with heat gun or blowdryer- doesn't take much.
-Peel a corner to start.
-Warm the area ahead of the part you are peeling. If you warm near the area you are holding, it will easily tear.
-Once you have the stickers off, Put some of the 3M adhesive remover on a rag and wipe it around the remaining glue.
-The glue will soften and turn to gel. Use a clean credit card (if you get any dirt or grit on it, you will have fine scratching all over the place) or other plastic edged item to gently scrape the glue off. It will scrape off in layers. Just scrape, then re-apply some adhesive remover.

Make sure to clean the plastic afterwards.

It only took about 30 muinutes and the adhesive remover was fine on the plastic.

Yeah, Dave, credit card is a good idea. I went with a razor blade in an unlit "garage" to give it that rugged look personally....

Oh, and cause I like to bleed.
