New KLR650 - I am in Scottsdale

Gang: time to pull together more KLR oriented riders in the PHX area.

I am new to this bike and a re-awakened rider(rode when I was younger).

Bike daily to work(in Old Town)

Want to head for off-road with a few pros.

Thanks

Tom

Phoenix rider

KLR coming soon. Been riding my Nighthawk solo all this time. Looking forward to the off roading and maybe hitting up some rides with other members.

Shorty

I do not ride with the SW riders. More oriented to safer rides and more north east area vs north west of phx.
Can add you to our list of a few conservative KLR guys.
We are not riding much in the heat...but in the Fall lot's more riding.

Cheers

T

Also lookin for lighter rides

I too am not much of a Hotdog. Prefer well groomed roads if not pavement. I would rather enjoy the sites than have to concentrate on potholes and thick gravel. Conservative riding style (not politics.) Anyone wants to get out with me let me know. I am usually off Sundays and Mondays.

You got red on you.

There must be some KLR Riders out there in PHX area

Where do the PHX Groups meet and ride? Seems like there are more way off road bike groups out here. There should be too. Just looking for some not so adventurous riders who meet eat and ride. The fire roads are good for now until I can handle this off road riding. New to this group too. A meet at a place near the Apache Trail 88/ Lost Dutchman Blvd would stage a good ride out past the Tortilla Flats. Would like to take the 88/188/60 loop.
