You won't have to worry about it, your in Texas not Arizona. Bagged the posting anyways. Unsubscribing so kill the thread.

Hope you check back and re-subscribe. There's room for everyone here, we just generally stay away from politics, religion and stuff that could could be insulting or angering.

Matter of fact, I was feeling sorta guilty about my little joke post.

I'm not addressing just this post, but several I have seen lately. This is a relatively small forum. People will generally respond to your posts, but you might have to give it more than a day.

If you read my posts, you probably have an idea as to my politics. But that doesn't matter here. I do think you might want to consider the way you worded your original post (a little confrontational).

No offense intended. I just think this is a cool place and you shouldn't give up on it because no one responded to your post right away in the way you wanted them to.

Thanks guys. I just came across it as it was in the SW and was looking whats up. I didn't mean to come off that way. Just get earfull of politics here, especially at work. And as you know it can get nasty. In the NW I had friends that felt similar so we could hang out aside from rides. Plus it seemed to come up less up there. Here it is a constant subject. I have guys I can ride with sure, but, my posting was meant to try to find someone close here that could hang out after rides or even non riding events. I left the other guys site (net), because if my friends and I disagreed with their politics or voiced back about some of the others threatening or intimidating posts, we would subsiquently get banned, since the threateners were either friends or mods themselves. So I decided to come here and the KLRworld. Two great sites. The fact that nobody responded nastily was actually refreshing. That is why I decided to drop it. Lockjaw, Hardyreels and I have been PMing and if I get to the Bay area which is a possibility I will look you up. We could end up movin there or back to the NW (depends on the job.) BIGIRON, don't sweat it, I know sometimes when we post stuff it is hard to impress tone. What you say in jest can come across to the reader as serious. I will happily ride with ya in Texas if I ever find myself there. If my responce came accross as harsh it was as I was dealing with some nastiness from the other site. All's good. I did a similar post on some other sites and had some responces. Unfortunately not KLR guys though.

You got red on you.

Hey fourstroke. Thanks for putting this post up. And if you're out here, for sure, let me know. I understand where you're coming from. A lot of people defect here. I was lucky enough to come here first, but I have had some bad experiences on other forums. The cool thing about this place is that it's pretty accepting. A lot of folks on here from many different walks of life with many differing viewpoints. But it's never really a problem. This is a good place to learn and have a few laughs. Everyone here is different, but we all love ugly bikes.
