I got an 91 KLR 650 which I'm repairing.
One thing that I want to do is have the right bolts or at least not have a mix of screws and bolts that for sure are not the default ones. The idea is to have the same type of "head" so I can have the minimal tools with me when traveling.
Hey guys, first post here. Just bought a bike after nearly 10 years without one and I'm super stoked on it. I bought a 2009 klr650 and realized the previous owner took off the rear passenger pegs and brackets. I found someone online whos parting out a 1st gen Klr650 and I'm wondering if you guys...
Hi, I am a new member and would appreciate some advice. I was riding around on the weekend, put about 500km on driving out to visit my parents, bike was running great. The next day I went for a quick evening ride and lost power on the highway - I couldn't maintain highway speed - I limped back...
In the middle of a long ride yesterday I notice my tachometer wasn't reading and my blinkers weren't working. I was able to ride another hour to my buddies house but wasn't able to get the electrics working. I took the seat off and found the main fuse was blown.....I replaced it and it kept...

I recently changed my standard air filter video from the standard foam to a Australian made Funnel Web filter. The filter states that it has 50% more surface area by design, so far so good, I haven't noticed any further petrol range however there does seem to be a little more power on...
New to the KLR world and this forum, I have a 2010 KLR 650 and have started making some videos on it that will hopefully be useful to some of you. One of my most recent videos is on the checks I do on the KLR before a long journey (1000km +), Let me know what you think, good or bad :)...
I was just wondering if this was typical of the KLR 650 when it is up at 140-150km/h the bike sways in an unnatural way, I have had the wheels balanced and they are perfectly in line. Its a strange sensation it kind of sways constantly like a mild wobble. Thoughts?
Has anyone in Australia been able to find where to get replacement upper fairing panels from? I am after the fairing to the left of the headlight, ideally in thunder candy blue (2010 Colour)

My name is Kyle, or TheOtherSoup(long story), and I’ve been thinking about starting yet another youtube channel and forum posts dedicated to the KLR 650. Now if I haven’t lost your interest yet, I have some ideas to make things a little different. For my channel I want to create an...

This is my 2nd KLR over the years; Really enjoy the bike. Very functional! Primarily use it for commuting back and forth to work when the temps are below 80 degrees and less than 40 percent chance of rain :) I have a pipe dream of actually going off road someday, but where I live in the Florida...
