Hello, I have been looking for a replacement gas cap for my 1987 KLR 250 for 3 years with no luck, and I am good at finding old parts.
I ended up buying a couple squares of rubber gasket material (gas rated) and made my own replacement gasket. Search ebay for gasket material. I took a caliper and measured the thickness and got one piece the same thickness and one piece a little thicker, in the end I had to use the thicker one.
