Hello , Im baffled , bike was running fine then just packed up and the stator was the problem which has now been replaced , i also fitted a ccm exhaust and re-jetted to 155 as specified , the bike now starts fine and idles great but when i open the throttle it pops n cuts out around 3000 rpm , can anybody help , cheers jamie

Welcome to the forum.

More info please. You put in a larger main jet? The stock bike is rich on the main jet for most. Motorcycle carbs work on throttle postion not rpm. When you say 3K rpm where is the throttle?

General rule of troubleshooting is look at what you did last! Maybe the carb diaphragm (rubber deal on the slide) is not seated right or has a hole. My guess is that the main jet is too big. Do you have the problem at greater than 1/2 - 3/4 throttle?

Clogged main jet, or . . . diaphragm air leak (i.e., hole, tear, or improper sealing. Probably, improer sealing, since you've been dorking with the carb. Hard to get that diaphragm to stay in its groove. I think a standard main jet is 148; oughta work, at least beyone 3000 rpm.).

Check the assembly of the needle and slide, etc.; could be a problem there.
