Exactly. And they don’t work. I have that on excellent authority from the county game warden. If anything it might make them bolt in front of you as you approach. So take them off, unless you like them as decorations.

they are wind powered I guess since there are no wire running to them.
Personally, I think that one Nat or Mosquito is all that it takes to defeat their whistle ability. Then they leave owners with a false sense of security.

Even a grain of wind blown sand could defeat them in the same manner, by obstructing the reed valve.

Well just looked up the best way to remove the tumblers bolts. I usually grind a line across and use a flat head, but this time ill try to use the reverse thread bit.
