Hey there,

Preparing for a relatively long adv trip, and was taking a look at the drive chain. Noticed that the lower rear chain guide is actually touching the drive chain. Can't attach an image for some reason so here's the OEM part number of this lower rear chain guide (if that's the actual name of the part): 12053-0188.

The chain is actually being slightly pushed inwards towards the bike because of the guide.

Thought that I might just need to get on the bike to put some weight on it and ride it around ... but while riding it around the block, I could see AND hear the chain rubbing up against the guide.

Any idea what could be causing this? Measured chain play and it's fine (~1.25 inches). Index marks on both side of the axle match up too.
