I'm strongly considering purchasing a 1995 KLR 650, and I'd like to put some saddlebags or hard bags on it to ease my commute to work. It's the Barbie color scheme, and while I'm favor functionality to appearance, I don't want it to look dumb, either (which is the reason I haven't found any bags I like for my '79 CB750F).

Does anyone have any suggestions and / or pics?

ALSO, are there any know rear brake issues? This one's rear brake is shot, but the master cylinder appears to have the correct fluid levels and no leaks are apparent.

Thanks a bunch for y'alls help!!

How much storage do you need? Why not a tank bag like the Wolfman Explorerer? Mine just about never leaves the bike since I bought it. It fits the KLR absolutely perfect and has never been in the way. It fits right in the zone between your arms and looks great as well.

There's lot's of posts on the subject. Just go into the main page index.

The guys here are pretty innovative as far as anything on bikes, so you'll find lots of different things -- from coke crates to $1K systems. Most of us are on the low side of in-between!!
