I know the site is new but there have been a lot of up dates recently that last the whole evening. Is this going to be an ongoing phenonenom or is there an end in site?

The next couple evening could see long periods of inaccessability while I work with some of my internet buddies to create a safe guard against a security issues found this week that could cause serious problems for forum type websites. Hope to get the work done by the first of the week, then with any luck it will be bidness as usual. I dont want to take any chances with someone "hacking" the site.

Can't you make the site do it's update thing around 3-4 a.m. Eastern Time? Most of the people like to browse in the late evenings after their family obligations are out of the way. Then to log on and there's nothing, I'm betting some are straying to other sites to get their fix. Let's just hope they come back.

Then I would never get any sleep, when its down and says upgrades in progress, thats me working. Guess when the last time I had sleep was? Going on 48 hours ago. I spent all night last night applying and testing new security features, and I am about to install the newest version shortly, I dont expect to be down all night tonight, I am going to get some sleep.

So that's why there are bags under your avitar? ;) Might consider doing a general PM to everyone to let them know about why and when the site has been down. After KLR650.net I imagine there are a lot of "Oh no, not agains" going on
Good luck on the repairs/safeguards.
