Gotta question I could use some help with. Wife is an occasional passenger and would like it better if rear pegs were a bit lower. Any way to accomplish this without a ton of problems?

An interesting question: one I've never seen asked. I would think it would fall into the category of "Quite A Challenge" but I might be wrong.......

I'm guessing you'd have to make all new brackets for the back pegs, but truthfully, I've never really looked at them that closely...

You could mount rescue pegs on your pegs and then when you get cruising down the road she could put her feet on your pegs for added leg room. Just a thought.

Good compromise

Savage,
That's a pretty good suggestion, She just needs to be able to stretch out now and again. At 5' 5" she doesn't take up too much room, but on our KLR's it's just not as roomy as the K1200Lt she was used to!

I had similar issues with the wife on the back of the KLR. I solved it by buying a Goldwing.
