Yes ... plugged them back in with a dab of dielectric grease.
Good idea about the cover, it is tight in that little space.
Broke a nail ... and the Salon is closed !! 😎
There was also some sort of plastic shim around the battery that will get the same treatment ...

Gord, that plastic piece on the left side of the battery holds it in place. I’m thinking about ditching that part and using something lighter to retain the battery.
Also you should remove the metal bracket that holds the relay.

That seat looks perfect, i really like that one.
The seat was made by a small custom shop in Albany Oregon named Mr Ed’s custom Moto.
I bought it second hand from a guy locally, but I really like it.

Best thing about KLR's.... within 25 feet of 75% of broken down riders, you;ll find spare KLR stuff! lol

Some of it pretty nice like that seat!

Mine for the day has some issues. I get stuck like this quick now. I know those sporty small caster wheels, the price of cool...lol

I would think that 1/4 drive should be strong enough for 300 inch pounds! What did that POS let go at?
Swapping out the OEM shock for a Cogent. Those lower bolts were put on by Hulk Hogan!

And I needed the extension so I had to drill out the broken socket part....and voila!

Got it done, though....
