Tank was full of fuel and the seal performs poorly! The cap had a plastic shroud that has been cracked and missing for some time. At one point I put a decorative pickel jar cap on top. Then I had trouble with the vent creating vacuum and gutted it. Add a bunch of dust and pollen and you end up looking kinda shabby...

It cleans up, but replacing the entire fuel cap is on the list!

Thats a Cleaview from way back, maybe 2004, its the thicker version, seems bullet proof.
Awesome, thank you. I have a very similar one but it curves upwards and I really like how yours maintains that angle.

Tym, your fuel gauge shows enough for another 100+ miles, did you use most of it?
