Hi everyone,

I'm set on buying a KLR this weekend. I'm curious how a '96 might behave with a passenger. Is it a tight squeeze? Has it been done countless times and therefore nothing to worry about?

What about the Afrika Dual Platform Seat here?: http://www.klr650.com/Seats.htm

The seat says it lowers the drive 2 inches—does enough padding remain for a comfortable ride?

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to be an owner!

Not sure, and I didn't know they were making a dual seat like that.. It looks like the old Corbin Dual Canyon seat..

Just by looking, it seems like there's plenty of room for both rider and passenger. Usually the only time there's an issue for the passenger is if you have a top box mounted too far forward, as it'll dig into their back.

I don't think I've heard any reports on any of the Africa seats by those that have had them for a while. Hopefully this will bring forth some reveiws??
