So yes Aloha,
When considering a new bike I was impressed with this site. Earlier today I picked up my KLR at the harbor, and went for a ride, currently it has 6 miles pavement, 19.9 miles dirt. The ratio should improve. This is my 4th bike, still own my 2nd HD. The dirt is clearly different, on today’s ride my tail end slipped out a few times but the balance and corning felt great so I did not dump it. Was glad to make it staying upright.

Aloha,
Willi

Welcome to the forum Willi.

At 1st one feels a fair bit of difference between the tall, slightly top heavy KLR and a lower Fatter road bike. But after a short bit, its just another bike.

Agreed, I’ve haven’t stalled a bike or layed a bike down since I don’t know when yet I’ve done both in the past 48 hrs. But ihave had 2 enjoyable rides.
