Gonna do a shock and fork disassembly and cleaning on a 2014.5 new edition KLR. Anybody know the stock suspension weight and volume for the newer shock. I’m just planning on measuring the volume that comes out but I’d like to know the factory volume if available. Also is the shock nitrogen psi still around 140 psi? Thanks.

Front fork / 10 w / approx 585 ml per leg / 135mm air space, spring removed, fork compressed.

OEM manual considers rear shock as non-servicable, so no oil specs, 142 psi pressure

Ok thank you. What would you use if you were unable to find the shock weight? I’m thinking 10w. Even if it’s a little thick I’m sure it won’t be long in that shock body until it degrades.
