My suggestion is to connect a MAIN POWER LEAD for accessories, battery charging, or Jump Starting to the Starting Relay Terminal, rather than the main battery terminals. Both locations work and I am not here to challenge anyone, just my life experiences. Typically the battery terminal area has just enough room to fit the factory wires and configuration. Additionally, stacking multiple connectors together may cause a heat spot, meaning; the electric current is trying to get there, but is met with resistance. This can cause the entire wiring harness to SUFFER. Connecting to the Relay allows for a Tighter Fit, the nut can take more torque, it you will. which will let the battery do its thing. Charge and be cool. If any Electrical Engineers can smooth out this explanation, please jump in.

Pics attached show !. the cover location and ONE screw to remove. and 2. The RELAY. The RIGHT is HOT HOT HOT please please, AVOID touching the stud and nut and the Frame. This is the Positive side of the battery. The left is cold with the key in the OFF position, HOT with the key in the Ignition position.

The pigtail connector can simply be connected to either side of the relay, your choice. Cold side, Left Hot side Right. The Ground (Negative side) can be connected to the bolt just below the relay. This is the mounting bolt to the frame.

The Pigtail that comes with the Battery Tendres come with a 2.5 amp fuse, to protect the charging, NOT the wires, it is safe to install a 15-20 amp fuse to connect the Warmgear clothing, AND is the same connector that comes with that product and any of the other brands..

HELP !!! Battery Accessory Connection, Can't Load Pictures

I would love to attach pictures. The system is not letting me do it. They are jpg, then I converted them to pdf, the file size is much smaller than the listed limits. These pictures have been shared on other sites with no problem. Can any one help me?

Create an account at photobucket.com then upload your pictures to there. Once uploaded, have the forum open and your album on photobucket opened. You then find the pic you want to post and click on the IMG option under the picture, this copies it, then here in your post you just right click and paste. Do a preview of your post and make sure the pic posted correctly. I also found out you can adjust the size of your pictures uploaded to photobucket, I use the 1024x768 option on photobucket, this makes a really nice big picture to see. Make sure to have the size option set before you upload. Hope this helps...
