Hi folks i have an 1992 klr600 (european model) with electric start after using in torential rain it has been blowing the main fuse 20amp even when ignition is switched off i have stripped the loom from one end to the other and have found no damage to be causing any shorts so must be one of the componets relay,s etc could anyone send me in the right direction maybe experienced this theirself any advice help would be appreciated.

The only thing you can do is start eliminating items, one at a time to find the culprit.. I know it's a pain, but in the electrical world there's only procedure or head scratching.. :)

Since you've eliminated a bunch of items, I'd start checking where you've already thought about, with the relays for the lights or starter being the most likely culprit..

I,ve been going over wiring :46: all day i,m thinking it could be on the fan circuit as this is live when ign is off.
