First time I saw yellow fields like those in North Dakota, I wondered if it was possibly mustard?
But thanks to Dualthings pics of a couple years ago and also today, I had decided those ND fields were also Canola.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a more convenient URL to the video clip:

Kudos to Neil Wetmore, who made the video (are you one and the same?).

Regardles, great videography and drone (or helicopter, or magic carpet) piloting!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Damocles

Yup, that's me. I live in Somerset West....

Whenever I ride, I pack my little phantom 3 drone with ....always fun to capture another aspect to the riding.

I'm hoping to capture some more footage soon and will upload in 1080 instead of 720 (Am in the DRC at the moment, limited bandwidth).

Happy riding!!

Yes, WOW!!!! Beautifully done.

And I thought I had my hands full with an IR thermometer and ink pen on reasonably straight highways while recording oil temperatures and pressures a couple years ago.

I'm just guessing that during some of that footage, both you and the drone are in motion?

That was a great video. Thanks for sharing that!

The top of the mountain where it was so bare, had it been clear cut or was it burnt?

I assume, "DRC" means, Democratic Republic of the Congo!

Understand bandwidth isn't the only thing limited there.

Best wishes for your safe stay and return. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of your DRC footage on the nightly news!
