I'm planning to do some riding next year around the Columbia River gorge, outside Portland, Or. Anyone been there or have any good suggestions? I'm looking forward to this trip, and any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

Take the old highway route after multnomah fall's it run's paralell to 84 east there is an old historic castle on top of the cliff there and a few other neat thing's to see. I can't be real exact for you but it will be on the atlas it will get you off the beaten path besides there is usually alot of truck traffic up the gorge.

Take the loop from Portland to the gorge on the old highway then south on 35 to Mt.Hood and up to Timberline lodge then back to Portland it,s one of the best rides in Oregon, the loop is about 180 miles from 130 feet to 6,000 feet, don,t forget the Oregon coast
If I,m in town when you come up let me know I,ll go with you
