I have had the narrow one for a couple of years. Even with it I find it can be a little hard to have smooth throttle inputs around town. More of an issue on a bike with a lot of power, not so much with the KLR obviously. The crampbuster is certainly worth the little it costs, and allows 500 to 700 mile days to be much more bearable.
