Ran across a great deal on DID Oring chains 106 links, not sure if the 3rd gen uses 106 but 1 and 2 do for sure. Great price at $57.50 on amazon with free shipping. It says they only have 6 left, I didn't order one because I have 3" in stock" I always ran RK chains and then I acquired a new DID with a load of parts and that chain lasted almost twice long as the RK.
That's one reason I get the 120s. Cut to fit and generally cheaper than the precut specific lengths. I've tried DIDs. Saw no advantage with the higher price over the BMOR. Been running that BMOR on another more powerful bike in all weather with no issues. Done now with my endorsement and OPed
I ran DID x- ring on my dune atvs for years. Raptor and banshee. No other chain lasted in that environment for me. I won't say I demand DID but they are good chain.
among the first things I did to my new gen3 was replace that kink o matic pos oem chain with a DID x-ring.
money well spent
3rd gen NEEDS 110 links fwiw
