Anyone in NC have wrench to apply the doo hickey I am new to the forum and ask alot of ?'s Also has any one ever drilled out sub frame to put in better bolts I see some sub frame upgrades with drill out 10mm and some companys just offer what they call a harder grade bolt no drilling can anyone give me some good advice of which way to go Thanks JDS II in NC

Go buy a cheap 1 1/4 wrench at a parts store. Some say to bend them to fit. We had no problem using the wrench as was. But, two people are needed to make the torquing much easier. We also used an electric impact to remove the flywheel. If you are able to do that you will only need to the wrench to hold the flywheel when you torque it back on.

Oops just read the last part of your post lol. I did the drill thru of the upper part of the sub-frame, but mainly because of my size. It wasn't difficult but did take some time and patience. My buddy, a healthy 250 lb man, just went to the hardware store and got 12.2 hardness metric bolts and replace all four of the subframe bolts with them. 13,000 miles on the bike with wheelies and some pot holes hit and lots of luggage and weight and no issues yet. They show no stress. Remember, blue loc-tite every bolt and nut you can remove and put back on. Winter is a good time for doing all that stuff.
