to anybody waiting on replacing the doo dont wait too long,
to my surprise when i replaced mine, the spring was broke.
and i have a 05 with under 4000 miles.
I replaced mine on the 05 with around 6 or 7000 miles and my spring wasn't broke, just looked like it was way to long to do any good.It sure is a nice feeling not to have to worry about it thou
After replacing my doohickey, myself and another KLR guy noticed a difference in vibration in my KLR compared to before the new DOO, so even if it ain't broke, FIX IT!!!
