When i bought the KLR I'm rebuilding the front fairing/headlight/stay bracket were missing. Now that I have those parts new from Kawasaki I noticed the mount is pointed to the passenger side (see pic) is this how they are from the factory? Noticed one of the flats looks longer so it would seem is has to be angled?

Ah Ha, I read you loud & clear, despite the fact that you seemingly drive on the 'wrong-side' of the road. :)

Yes the bracket is welded off-center to the left. And yes there is usually quite a bit of sloppiness in the bolt holes to allow the bracket & fairing to actually be mounted "straight ahead". It may take a couple of attempts of loosing / tightening, maybe even with the fairing installed on the bracket.

Ugh yeah typing all this from my phone so I get some good typos.

And sounds good on the mount, thanks

You mean to tell me me that you are not from "Down under" or "Across the pond", after all?

I hope it all mounts up straight in the end. I've had to help kick a few brackets back into 'reasonable' position after their riders took an unplanned off-road excursion.
