Speaking of oil filters , has any one used the metal screen reusable filter from ProCycle??Good idea or stay away?
I advise against that. look up fort9 on youtube. He did a scientific oil filter test and those stainless filters made the bottom of the list. They don't trap at a small enough micron level. They were intended for race bikes where that little bit of flow resistance meant HP loss. They weren't worried about trapping everything because the oil only stayed in the bike for 1 race and was drained. For a dual purpose bike I would never consider it. Besides, paper filters are dirt cheap

I can highly recommend the 'hiflow' brand filter. Best wishes

Think Micron Rating my friend! When it comes to Filters, most are spec'ed in Micron's. The smaller the number, the smaller the particle the filter is capable of filtering out. Not all filters are created equal! Buy your Oil Filters for all your engines, hydraulics and the like carefully, your parts depend on it!
