Does anyone know where to get fuel inlet fittings for the keihin carbs in Aus? I've seen drag specialities do a brass elbow piece to replace the factory fitting but can't find them in Aus to avoid the wait and postage from the US.

Cheers in advance

I'm guessing that you are riding 2010 & newer? As the 2009 & older had easily replaceable fittings sealed with o-rings, K# 92005-1283.

Genuine Harley Davidson solid brass L-Joint to fit the CV40 carb of Sportsters, #27371-76A.

Cheers back to ya'.

Thanks mate, good to have those part numbers... I'm actually on an '02 but the inlet that broke was a home job from a previous owner so it's pretty mangled. I'm keen to replace it with brass to give it some more life than the plastic... the 1/4" brass fittings I've seen should do the trick, just gotta find em somewhere.

I don't know of any company making brass fittings to replace the o-ring sealed, easily replaceable, plastic 1984-2009 Keihin CVK40 fuel & vent nipples, used on the KLR600 & 650's.

The brass Harley L-Joint will not fit the older carbs, too large of O.D..
