Got it scheduled to go in for warranty work tomorrow morning. Hopefully they don’t screw it up too badly 😛

They will need to check the fuel pump manufacturing number to see if it qualifies for a recall replacement.
I wanted to bring in just the fuel tank, and they told me NO. The bike needs to be there for any type of warranty work 👎

Mine is on the list as well. I wonder if “inspection/recall” really means they are going to replace it if there is nothing obviously wrong. I haven’t had any issues so far. I am inclined to wait until I have a problem before getting dealer invloved…

If your fuel pump falls into the 'Bad Batch' of suspect numbers & fails in the fast lane of a freeway and you have an accident because you 'put off a simple inspection', who are the lawyers gonna' blame?

Recalls are for Your Safety and others on our highways.

I'll suggest you should attend to it promptly.

Yep, mines on the recall list, and thanks for posting. Guess I'll call the dealer tomorrow. Glad to see the folks who had problems are notifying the NHTSA to get this recall going. Unless KHI got word of the problem and is instigating this on their own.

Yep, mine's included too, last of the VIN is 07788. I bought it last June, it's nearing 6000 miles and so far, not so much as a hiccup.
