I found this in the parts bin. It doesn't have welded seam like Gen 1. Is this from Gen 2?

Maybe the previous owner ground out / blended the weld? As it doesn't appear to be the shiny stainless steel of a Gen 2 header.
Show us the heat shield & aft half of that pipe.

There are no mounts for heat shield and it is rusty so must not be stainless steel. The throat is tapering in on the wide side and it is smooth and symmetric, seems like a factory job.

PeteK is probably correct, as I don't see any oem Heat Shield mounting tabs on its RH side.

It's unlikely to make any noticeable difference; a member here dynoed the Gen2 vs. the FMF Powerbomb and the difference was a 0.4hp increase in midrange and a corresponding loss up top....

Looks like an old 'big gun' brand header. They used a ceramic coating VS a heat shield.

Once the coating was sand blasted from riding the mild steel tubing would start to rust. Pretty typical for those.

You'll save some weight over the welded gen1 header but unlikely to outperform by much. Building 'performance' is much more comprehensive.

Nice heat coloring. Is there some kind of insulation on the mounting clamp that attached to the frame?
