haven't started the bike since the end of november. Been way too cold here. Tried starting it yesterday, but it just kept turning over. Strong battery, starter was doin it's job, just not starting. What do u think?
I will ask did you pop the plug cap and check for spark during all that cranking?
No? Pop the cap put in a nail or similar metal object hold by rubber with nail 1/2" or less from engine, crank starter, got spark, then you are loaded up or clogged up or simply in need of a new plug and fresh gas.
It's not uncommon for the fuel to evaporate from the carb while it sits. You then have to crank for awhile to get enough vacumn to open the fuel valve. If you put some vacum on the valve it will fill the carb and then it should start. Maybe.
