Does anyone have experience with helmet intercom systems?

We would like to get a system that is reliable and quality. It needs to be transferable from my helmet to Larryboy's so Larryboy can communicate with my husband when we all ride together...

I'd explain but it's a long fairytale!

No On The Nady

My wife and I had the Nady intercom a few years ago. It was absolutely junk. Then we got one called chatter Box unit and really like it. One thing I really liked about the Chatter Box was it was a VOX unit which meant voice activated. This meaning it shut itself on and off when no one is talking. The clarity was really good. I believe that Clarion out of Tucson still makes intercoms, but last I looked they were pretty high dollars. If memory serves, I believe Clarion make the O.E.M. on board units for Honda and BMW and so on. I had to buy a wiring harness from them to inter phase the Chatter Box unit to the existing wiring harness on the Kawasaki Voyager I used to have.

Thanks Bill

We also use the chatter boxes and like them very well.We use the push button mode most of the time because the klrs and wind noise would keep kicking them on and off.We also have them wired to the bikes with an onboard charging system that kept them going for up to three days before we would have to plug them in to get a full charge

Thanks, guys! I think the Chatterboxes it is! We did want the voice activated type too.
