Help Missing Part and Alignment Question.

I recently replaced my back tire and after putting in back on the bike, I noticed that there was this extra piece. I have no idea where it goes. If ANYONE can tell me where it goes I would be most thankful. I have posted photos on vBPicGallery for reveiw.

Thanks for the info. It was between the sprocket and hub. New pic up, is it the best way to align the wheel? The little marks are not precise enough.

is it 3 7/16 inches from the rim to the outside of the swingarm on the right side...?

The marks work for me, guess it depends on your definition of precise. No offense dude but it's a chain driven motorcycle. You could go nuts worrying if you are tracking at 100% dead nut.

I would contact Kent Soiginer here for frame and tracking questions he is a pro.
