There he goes again---making plans with you guys without talking to me first--he's at work you see-midnites---hey honey-I'm right here---what bloody bridges? --how cold is it gonna be??? You gonna drag me off on some single track full of mud as usual??? Oh my gosh--I'm trembling just thinking about it--wheres he gonna drag me off to now--bridges my butt--sounds good doesn't it guys???I want new excuses this time too honey-no more "I didn't know it would be this bad" "I didn't know they would be logging" "what happened?" as you pick my bike up outta the mud -and my all time favorite "just feather the clutch honey and walk it thru"Well, If there are bridges I will definitely take lots of pics so you can see if it's true---I will also take pics of the mud he will definitely drag me thru-maybe it won't be to far from home and I won't HAVE to follow him--EVERYWHERE :sc0015 oh-I gotta go now and see where my longjohns are packed---and my warm riding gloves--maybe some matches for when the mud halts us :sc0006 So much to look forward to-----It's really all good    Kay

Now Kaylr... you said...
There he goes again---making plans with you guys without talking to me first

How does this make you feeeeeeel Kaylr? :m0012 I zzz.

Now MikeKlR, how long have you really felt this need to drag mama through the mud just to go fishing with strangers under bridges? :c0052

Really? That long, eh? Hmmmmmmm..... MikeKlR.. how does this make you feeeeeeeeeel? :j0012 I zzzzzz.

Kaylr... you also said...You gonna drag me off on some single track full of mud as usual???

Now Kaylr... how did this make you feeeeeeeel? :c00147 :c00266

Really....? :sc0015 I zzzzzzzzz. Now Lorena....I mean Kaylr.... put that knife down... pleaze!!

MikeKlr...how does this make you feeeeeel?

:sc0016 I zzzzzzzz.

Dr. Hustler feeeeels that you two should be pronounced as happy normal well adjusted KLR partners with only slight adjustments on MikeKlr's part. MikeKlr you should take a week off and go fishing under a covered bridge with lots of mud and trolls to get this out of your system before taking Kaylr out on another trip. This next trip should include dry trails, warm sunny weather and at least one night in a Holiday Inn somewhere. Flowers would also be nice.

Because its not nice to drag mamma through muddy single tracks. If you do this again.... well .... :c00251

I PITY THE FOOL that would do it twice!!

You got it--you know what they say---if momma ain't happy-ain't nobody happy!!

And well Dr. Hustler --KLRmike and I have this little goal since we got together and I'll think Dr. you will agree wit it---we try to make each other laugh at LEAST once a day!! So far it's worked well--I find the funny part to be that KLRmike makes me laugh even when he doesn't know he did something funny---like this trip thread. And then it falls on me to lighten his night up alittle at work-overtime,12 hour shifts-ten or 11 nights in a row. Thank goodness he has access to a computer. Now Dr. do you think this bantering back and forth online is healthy or do you think we need to do it in person   As for the mud---my dad always told my mom it was good for us kids to waller in it once in awhile. So, I guess klrmike and I may do some wallering this week on our KLR's and we'll get pics     Oh, and thanks so much for your help!! :r0011 Kay

ummmm,Doc,if I go first and leave a track, then Kaylr goes and leaves a track, that's no longer a single track, right? :ev046 Or does this appear to be self justification :in0009

Thats the biggest covered bridge I've ever seen Mike. In darn good shape to. Is it in WV near you? So. IL has one or two that I know of but their not in use any longer. May be some I haven't seen though.

Hey deerhntr,ya,the bridge is pretty close to us.Crosses the Tygart river. It was built in 1852 and is 285 ft in length. It is the only (double barreled) bridge left in the united states. It sits on US Route 250 which is also known as the Staunton-Parkersburg pike in the 1700/1800s.She also has the privilege of being the only covered bride to service a federal highway carrying daily traffic.Probably one of the coolest bridges to ride a KLR thru.More covered bridges at the end of the week

More bridges

Kay and I took a little trip around to the local covered bridges today.A chilly 41.We started our ride in Marietta,Ohio with a little lunch. So a ride down along the mighty Ohio

Downtown Marietta

After lunch we headed to the boondocks to find our bridges

This is the hill bridge

Then headed up the road to find the Hune bridge. This is the only one open to local traffic

Can't take her anywhere without her playing in the water

So on up the road we go to find the Rinards bridge. We had a monsterous flood this past year and took this bridge down stream almost a mile into a cornfield. It has just been put back this fall

OHHH NOOO seems this bridge is plaqued with bridge ninjas help bullfrog help

Whew, made our escape and found the Knowlton bridge

After the Knowlton bridge,it was homeward bound

Gotta a fire in the fire place and Mac and I are waiting fot the WVU game at eight.Hope you enjoy our local bridges

The real down low on how awsome ninjas are.

Depending on where you work it might not be safe for there, but there is no nudity or anything. I would be comfortable opening it in the computer lab at school.
