I modestly propose an addition to the "Forward Lighting" section; viz: For Generation 1s, the TPI "Canadian" headlight bulb:

T6080-KIT, SUPER LOW BULB & DUAL HARNESS KIT, UP TO 07 KLR, all DR 650

The remarkable "Fat Boy" bulb can be used as a direct plug-'n'-play replacement for the OEM H4 bulb, but--a better installation with the relay harness (Because: More voltage to bulb, plus--full filament current flows through the HARNESS, not the fragile handlebar switch contacts, as in the OEM wiring scheme).

An acknowledgement to justjeff and my other Canadian friends on the website; the "Fat Boy" bulb is used in Canadian outdoors wildlife, parks-and-recreation, law enforcement, etc., off-road transportation vehicles.

How it works: The LOW beam consumes the greater wattage, spreading a low horizontal beam across the forward acreage, but not blinding on-coming traffic. The HIGH beam is more intense and perhaps more closely focused than the OEM arrangement.

Impossible to put in words, but a dramatic and literal "night-and-day" difference in comparison with the stock setup.

Installation: Unplug existing headlight bulb; replace with Fat Boy. If using relay harness, plug harness headlight connector to bulb; plug harness adapter plug into old headlight connector. Connect battery positive and ground. You're done!
