Hey all.... I've been asked by quite a few members if I would sell my dash. I've decided to make 10 for my first batch. They will be will be water jet from aluminum painted gloss black, and will come complete with volt meter, 2 usb power ports, 1 conventional lighter style power port and an accessory on off switch. All marine grade and all are illuminated. I'll include all mounting hardware and instructions on how to wire to factory harness. All plug and play. Install is under 20 min if your familiar with re moving your front fairing.
I'll sell for $95, plus shipping. I won't take any funds until they are ready to ship, which will be end of next week.
Please post any questions.
Also please place your name here if you would like one. I'll ship first come, first serve.

Thanks guys. I'll also post up better photos tomorrow. Resized952018092995174137_1550205411661.jpg Resized952018092995174231_1550205428955.jpg 20181026_125042_1550292470168.jpg

Thanks for doing this. I'm interested but I hate playing with the wiring. Could you post the wiring directions here so I'd know what I'm getting myself into?

Good morning, the instrument cluster will come pre wired. It will only have two leads that will need to be plugged in to the klr. The first gen klr has wires already at the front of the bike that aren't used on the US model. So all you'll do is plug into those. I'll provide photos of their location with the panel. I'll also post here. So all you'll do is remove the front fairing off your bike, lay the new panel over the existing instrument cluster, install the three clamps that will be provided to hold it in place and plug it into the front of the bike. It's really that simple.

Well that sounds easy enough, even for me. Could you offer them without the "klr650" cutout at the top? If so, count me in, I'll take one. Thanks!

I've already waterjet my panels, though I did drop the 650s some guys have Big Bore kits so it merely has KLR cut out. I'll post up photos of the finished product uninstalled

Lookin good! Any way you could post a picture of the dash with the handlebars at full lock?

Also, I have a parabellum rally windshield on my bike, and the nuts stick out a little further than stock. Think they will interfere? Hard to tell with the pics.

Good morning JT,

Ill be happy to send photos, probably wont be till later today as I have mine apart for a bit of a "photo shoot" for the install instructions.
I feel very confident after reviewing your pic though that you wont have any clearance issues but ill send photos measuring the distance from the closest point to the wind screen nuts. At times, I ask more performance of my KLR then mama Kawi probably intended; with that in mind I left plenty of room between the top radius of the panel and any foreseeable flex from the factory fairing.

I’d be interested in a Gen 2 version if you have any future plans making them. Would be an opportune time to get rid of my whacked bar mounted volt meter/usb port

I had thought about it, but there seems to be a few plastic ones for the gen 2 on the market. Id be happy to design one for the gen 2 if there is enough interest for me to make 10. the cost would be the same.

Got my dash today! I installed it this evening and it is sharp! Very happy with it. Install was a breeze. I will do a bit of a write up tomorrow with better pics when I can get the bike out of the garage and into the sunlight. Thanks Killerkaw!
