What's everyone doing for the sidestand on the 08 klr. Not enough lean, especially when fully loaded with bags and equipment. I saw a product on E-bay several weeks ago that would entail cutting off the end and slipping a foot on, but have not seen it since.
I know TPI motorsports sells a shorter stand, fifty bucks.
I think arrowhead motorsports also sells one.
The one from TPI is nice if you don't have luggage. It will get you the right lean but on mine it was still too long if loaded for a big trip.
I installed a better shock spring and now it's very good. The stock spring is very soft. If you do luggage and need a spring here you go-- http://www.topgunmotorcycles.com/KLR_springs/klrsprings.html
