Left turn signals and turn signal indicator

Well, I am sprouting new gray hairs and scratching the rest out. My 2005 smoked the turn signal relay popped the fuse and made me suffer the indignity of bringing her home on a trailer in the dark.
The relay is replaced along with the fuse. The right blinkers work as they should with no indicator. The left do not work at all also no indicator. The switch is in perfect shape. Wiring harness looks good and I have been all over it with a test light. Any help or a point in a direction.

I had a problem with a turn signal socket when I was going over my 2004 last year. Assuming no short in the wiring loom on the side in question there might be a problem in one of the turn signal assemblies unless you have already been in them for a look.
I'll assume that you have unplugged both front & rear signals & powered them directly/independently with jumper leads.
So we know the leads, sockets & bulbs are good?

What happens if you unplug your LH switch case & use a jumper wire from main harness Orange to first the RH Gray of the main harness & then the LH Green of the main harness?

I think that you may have a Break in the Green wire of the main harness or its terminal to the handlebar switch.

(The dash indicator bulb gets its Ground by going back-thru the Opposite side signals positive wire, thru the higher wattage bulbs to get to ground. So you get no indicator with your RH signals operating.
The indicator bulb ground path is what screws things up when changing to LED signals. Tom Schmitz taught us this.)

I think the break is in the green wire. I have unwrapped the harness to the midsection and can not find the problem. I am in perfect riding weather and my hand signals work just fine. I am going to remove the relay and ride on.

Had the same problem. Turn signal relay melted and blew the fuse. Right side signals worked fine but would blow the fuse when switched to the left turn signals. To me a long time to diagnose thru process of elimination but finally traced the short. Turns out the green wire for left signal shorted to the top subframe rail under the hold down clamp that's under the seat.

Clamp was so tight around the wire harness that it caused a rub thru.

Came from the factory like that!
Awesome!! I will look there again. I think it might be all the junctions. You have renewed my search!

Still have a problem with my left blinker. I have put a brand new wiring harness in the old girl and now my right is blinking fine. My left is not blinking but the headlight has a bit of a pulse. I am open to any ideas. I have rebuild the switch checked the bulbs. You name it. It occasionally pops my fuse and I am sick of killing only to find I can't push to start without a new fuse. Thanks so much for any ideas. I will go through them as the come in.
The left not blinking, but pulsing the headlight sounds like a ground problem. Unscrew clean and tighten your critical ground wires/attachments. In particular, the ones that ground from the wiring loom to the frame. Offhand, I don't know why that would pop the fuse, but there's probably a connection. Bad pun.
Thank you I will go through the grounds again.
