I'm running the MCP kit and I am pleased with the results.

I just put the kit in my 2017. I’ve been writing about it in recent posts. The bike definitely has more pull at higher RPMs. Opened the air box and added a Leo Vince silencer as well.

Over the top advertising and maybe a chip on his shoulder because of it, but the product works and he can be very helpful. The product works very well across all rpm ranges.

The MCP needle profile is very different than stock and other aftermarket kits. Nothing special about the jets, just sized appropriately. Somewhere on his page there is a photo comparison. I made the change from stock, which does provide a very positive and noticeable difference over stock, especially on the low end, but then any good kit should, right? I've only had it in for a few hundred miles and haven't really checked but the gas milage remains unchanged, I haven't pulled the plug, but there is no indication that it is running rich. I'll date myself by saying that this is the first time I went through a carburetor by myself since my RD and H2 days, so I just followed instructions. I don't know much about CV carbs, but I suspect what makes it good is the needle that he found for it. It's a good product. I recommend it.

This is my sparkplug after about 10,000 kilometres with the MCP kit.
All stock except I removed the snorkel.

I did the Klx needle and jet to 142. The response I get now is very linear and smooth. I have a Yoshi and snorkel delete. My mileage has dropped about 3 mpg on the last two tanks, so I’ll be interested to see if that trend continues. Haven’t had an occasion to check the plug again, but will probably after summer.
