I stumbled into this somewhat nonsensical conversation being debated amongst some fellow riders at work today:

What do you consider the single most important control on your motorcycle?

FWIW, I voted for the clutch but am not really prepared to defend my choice...............

Control? Like, throttle, clutch, brake, handlebars?

Or . . . ???????????????

:)

Maybe, rider sense of orientation (e.g., eyes (horizon)/semi-circular canals/tactile sense of gravity component) and balance?

Or, . . .

DISCLAIMER: No bugging nor annoyance intended; just . . . searching for a definition of, "control," in the context of this thread's discussion.

For some reason they were debating the actual motorcycle controls: throttle, clutch brakes, etc. and which one was "the most important."

"If the brakes don't stop it, something else will!"

:)

{Apologies to the advertising agency producing the, "We're O.K.," ads--quoting the guy commenting on the competency of the service available in his brake shop.)
