Motorcycle tire changer, Coats 220

I picked one of these up today, I guess iI'm off of the floor for tire changes now! It s missing one of the wheel clamps if anyone knows where to source one from, and maybe the plastic guards? The guy I bought it from said it came from a golf course. I ran across this article about them and they call it the KLR of tire changes. I thought that was funny!

Those are fantastic machines! Seems like replacement parts are getting harder and harder to find though. Hopefully you find a good source. A good friend sold his an went No Mar years ago because of that, and hitch mount.
Once you start using real tire equipment you'll never go back to spooning on the ground.
Back when I worked at Napa, we could get parts for Coats machines. Might give them a shot, but you might need to talk to an old timer or one of the commercial guys in the back. The new age of parts monkeys holding up the counters rarely know what to do if you don't have "make, model, year".
I just talked to Coats and they discontinued the machine in 2017 and the only part they still sell is the plastic spoon covers. Now is there one sitting on a shelf somewhere at a Napa..... I'll try.
Along with near 35 years as a Hunter Rep,, sales as well as years in service and training, I was a Coats Warranty/Install/ and Service depot years back, all reps were independent back then. Look for re-man Coats machines on line, lots of those guy were like myself, some still have avenues to used parts.I used to bid on and buy used Wal Mart Changers, made a fortune re man and selling them.Coats are all internal service guys now,, no used stuff, they are employees and have to clerk the way Coats tells them.

Any idea of how I can get a rim holder, I am missing one of the two non-adjustable ones.

It's a shot in the dark, not many of those style bike units were ever produced. Look on e bay for "Used Coats Changers',, if he's an old Coats guy still repairing and selling coats ,, he may have, of have an idea of an outlet.
