I took my 2017 KLR out for a ride on my 60th birthday October 28th. The last day for my insurance.
I was on my way home to park the cycle for the winter. It was sunny but quite cold. I live in Northwest Canada.
Because of the so cold I was driving slower that I normally would be.
I was driving past a park a short distance from home when a Honda Civic suddenly started to turn across my lane.
I applied both brakes hard and almost came to a stop when the driver actually looked to see if there was anything coming towards her.
She stopped the car just partially blocking my lane avoiding a collision. It was pretty close.
The Tusk oversize rotor I installed was a good investment. I would not have been going very fast if we had collided but still you never know
what the results will be.

Glad to hear that you made it safely home. Whew!!

Do you not Normally run HIGH Beam in the daytime? I occasionally forget and occasionally get an unpleasant reminder as to Why I Normally DO.
