You might try posting the same thing on Adventure Rider under Regional forums, Canada. It is a much larger forum. I found some "local" riders near Lac La Biche that way.

Not real local, but I'm in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. There are a few KLRs around here. I just got mine last July and been having a blast on it. I used to race enduro back when I was in my 20's.

I just picked mine up in March. Went from a cruiser to the klr. It is definitely fun to drive.
