I am new to the board and KLRs, in fact I don't have one (yet).
Looking to find some useful advice on this site here.
I live in the southwestern part of Alberta, Canada, in the Rocky Mountains :35a:

Welcome to the neighborhood. Most of what you ever wanted to know you should be able to find here.

Are you in the Crowsnest area by any chance?? lots of great KLR country there and close to BC.

Welcome to the site I live in Alberta too and the KLR is a great gravel road bike and we have sure have lots of gravel roads in Alberta.
Just get the right tires and this bike will handle any gravel out there . I use a Dunlop 606 front and a Kenda k270 rear tire for the best handling combo on gravel.

Thanks for the welcome!

@klr4evr yes I live in the Crowsnest Pass. I recently moved here, lots beautiful roads and trails here! Too bad it's gonna snow soon.
