Moving from a DR to KLR makes for some interesting contrasts. It will be interesting to hear your comparisons. You may appreciate the more robust clutch safety switch, then face palm at how much more complicated it is to bypass the KLR one.
I didn't really want to get rid of the DR but it was kick start only and I jacked up my ankle a while back, so kicking was getting really difficult, and painful. So far the KLR is good, it's a pig, but it's good. It's a big shock getting off the KLR and riding my V-Strom to work !
