Hello from Georgia! I hope to purchase my first KLR650 soon, I had dirt bikes growing up as a kid and even owned a "crotch rocket" as a young adult. I'm excited to see what type of adventures I can get in to on this KLR. Any advice from the veteran KLR owners?

There really aren't any that are Totally Necessary. Well maybe the clutch switch jumper/by-pass, for smoother throttle response, from what I have read.

Hello everyone! I'm Looking at picking myself up a new 22 or 23 KLR, I have been riding sense I was 10 years old , (55 now). I started on a 1977 KD100, then a KD175, KDX200 then to 3 and 4 wheelers for years. My last bike was a 2009 Big Red Pig XR650L, I sold that a couple of years ago and I'm getting that bug again! Greetings and salutations from Charlotte, NC! Picked up a brandy-new ‘22 Adventure from the dealer in January to compliment the FJR1300 in the garage. KLR mods and farkling have already begun. In the past I’ve ridden KLR and F650GS Dakar for dual sporting and K1200RS and FJR1300 for sport touring. Looking forward to exploring backroads and camping wild again.

Brian from Goodyear AZ here. Picked up a gray 2023 KLR yesterday. Have added...well I wiped it off, does that count? I'll be riding in and around the Goodyear until I get this al figured out, then it's off to the white mountains.

Thanks... I just finished that one a few minutes ago. So far, I'm good. First big things for me are front fork service and front brakes.
