I have my first KLR, an '08, on reserve and can't wait. Have an '03 GL1800 Goldwing which I rode to the Arctic Circle and across 5 Canadian provinces in 2005 and it has 61,000 miles on it. 8)
I retired from Mississippi DOT with 33 years (see username) and am now employed with URS as an inspector helping rebuild the bridge at Biloxi that was destroyed by Katrina. I'm 52 years old going on 25---spend time in the gym and stuff.
The KLR is to go to an HU meeting in Mexico next October and back to Alaska. Hope to meet lots of you folks and others on the big road.
