has anyone ever tried or messed with painting with the bed liner textured paint? im thinking of turning my 09 klr into a ratty looking tank/batmo-bike. i hate keeping the bike looking clean but i cant help it with that nice glossy paint job on it so i want to flat black the sucker and not have to worry about dumping it.

any info/ suggestions is appreciated:character00268:

may be a bit tough to re-sell or trade in later ..... plus bed liner may
flake off of the plastic - A good flat black paint job would be better

As easy as the KLR is to strip down I'd just repaint with a flat black, OD green, desert tan, etc. You put bed liner on that machine and you will, someday, regret that decision.
