one of the golden moments of motorcycling, the day you install brand spanking new fresh tires and sneak your shameful ratty worn old tires out to the curb! then waiting forever until the weekend finally comes and you can take the klr out on the sandy local forest trails and relearn what "traction" means...

It's almost as cool as getting a new bike, and many times it rides like new again.

I got all giddy too with two new tires this season. Took a hundred or more miles,
but the rear is holding tight and oversteer is all but gone now. (705)

The front K270 is great offroad but isn't confidence inspiring at ALL otherwise.
It looked like the 705 front couldn't hold a line so I went 50/50 but it dives into
turns and I feel the knobs flexing. It doesn't feel planted yet at 200 miles.

PS. What tires did you choose?
