Well I did it, bought a 2004 KLR today. I have been researching like a crazy man between the DR 650 and the KLR. Picked up the bike from an individual today that is the origianal owner. The bike has 2300 miles on it and a givi 052 monokey on it. The owner took great care of it, comes with the sevice manuals and a battery tender. I am really looking forward to riding and maybe some day do a dual sport ride. I have more dirt bike experience than I do street but as I get older I'm loosing interest in flying through the air.
This site has a lot of great info and knowlegable people, glad i joined.

Thanks,
Dan
