I'm getting ready to freshen up my front wheel bearings and thought I'd share.

Still waiting on the bearing kit to arrive, ordered the kit from Pivot Works. (Great company)

Here's the 'new' tool I got to make short work of the job. MP# 57-8269
Outerwear Blue Sleeve Font Sports uniform

Stay tuned for a final write-up with pics of the removal & install.

I bought a bearing puller once, didn’t work for me.
I ended up beating them out with a socket extension and sending it back.
I’ve always wanted to try some fancy ceramic bearings but I do to many water crossings for any bearing to last very long.

Indeed, it's a 'split Collet' design. Simply and effective. Plus, it's not going to damage the hub.

Exactly why I'm replacing mine. It's hard on them for sure.
